factory serviced? what factory??

Purchased factory serviced machine thinking it had been serviced in a factory,wrong.Had been delivered less than 1 hour and I'm sending it back for refund.Broken pattern selecter knob,can't select any pattern.I have several Singer machines,this one is not up to par,even for the price.Would like to know what factory was it serviced at.

What a great little machine!

To begin with, the needle threader is really easy to use. And the stitches are so easy to select and use. This machine does blind stitching and easier button holes than my old machine. All this in a low-priced machine.

Great for Pillowcases - Bad for anything else

I've had my machine nearly two weeks now. I've made some beautiful pillow cases, but I cannot work with any fabric heavier than that! It bunches up and ties horrific knots in fleece, flannel, denim, I've adjusted everything from tension to feed dogs, nothing will help this machine. The one step buttonhole would be amazing if it weren't tying knots in my fleece. Decorative stitches are beautiful on lightweight fabric, but again, useless on medium to heavy fabric.
Automatic threader works well for me. Would NOT recommend this product.

Utilitarian Pan

If I was counting on making a life or death meal, I would choose my all clad copper cores. This pan is great for everyday "utilitairan" cooking. Browning mushrooms, sauteing vegetables, etc... Heats evenly and is easy to control, even on an electric burner.

High-Quality, Practical, Affordable

This is a good pan that is great to cook with and easy to clean. The pan appears to be of high-quality, is reasonably heavy and has a pretty thick, even non-stick cooking surface. The pan allows you to cook with a lot less oil than with traditional pans. Washing the pan is great - grease slides off the pan and it dries easily.
I have had the pan a few weeks and so I am not sure about its durability - that's the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5.

Very good pan

This is a great pan for the price. It is an excellent size to make an omlette for 2 people. I had a little trouble with the ceramic burners on my new stove in getting the temp right the first couple of times that I used it, however, once I had that figured out it works beautifully. The nonstick surface makes cleaning a breeze. The only thing you have to scrub are the little metal bolt caps that hold the handle to the pan. Eggs seem to like to stick to those. It is also a perfect pan for sauteing nearly anything. I would advise keeping the heat on the low end until you get the hang of this particular pan as it heats so well that I ended up overcooking or browning things too quickly. Overall it is a very nice pan and Amazon offered it at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend it.

Great item though not non-stick

The Calphalon Hard-Anodized saucepan is extremely strong and well built. It must be known however that Hard anodized is not the same as non-stick and need a few drops of oil. Other than that, the item is excellent.

This is the best cookware, at the best price, and would be one of the best values for any gourmet lover.

Great Saucepan.

It's hard to go wrong buying Calphalon stuff,it all seems to be really high quality.Personally I can only afford it when it is on sale! Luckily it is often marked down really well at Amazon.If you want cookware that will last a long time and clean up easily,this is it.
