Yogurt is a great, guilt-free snack for both adults and kids. With this yogurt maker, it's easy to add favorite flavors--including exotic and sweet fruits, rich crunchy nuts, and natural sweeteners--to basic yogurt. Just follow the recipes, supplied by the manufacturer, and a nutritious snack, with very little fat and no preservatives (like most commercial brands), is not too far away. Making yogurt takes from 4 to 10 hours to process, depending on desired tartness of the batch. Absolutely the best yogurt I've ever had!

This product is really easy to use (although it's not quite as easy as I thought when I bought it - I was thinking I could just mix together the ingredients and pour into the maker but you need to bring the milk and dry milk to 180 or so and then cool down to 100 - 110 before adding the starter or 1/2 cup yogurt and pouring into the maker). I've found that heating and cooling the milk before is not that hard. I've never had a problem with the yogurt not setting. It's always come out great and tastes so much better than store bought (I never really liked yogurt before making my own. I was eating it because it's good for me ;) I LOVE the homemade kind!). So, with this product I'm saving money, eating healthier, and enjoying the best tasting yogurt ever. Win! Win! Win!

Great for the price. Four and a half stars.

Basic yogurt maker. Great value. We're getting a lot of use out of it and have probably made enough yogurt in the first few weeks to more than cover cover it's cost. I hope the plastic construction holds up over time.

Most of all I would very much like to see a two quart (or larger) version as we often prepare food for groups of 20+ people.

Just what I was looking for...Great price, too.

This yogurt maker is easy and convenient to use and I'm very happy I chose it over the brands that use multiple containers. It takes around five minutes of my time and makes enough to last the week. I use a yogurt starter from the health food store rather than the box recipe, and it turns out like regular yogurt, just like I wanted.

Lasts (almost) forever!

My parents bought me my first Hot Shot beverage machine while I was a freshman in college back in 1980. Using it virtually every day since, it lasted me until June of 2005! I finally fatigued the metal interior and it developed a small hairline crack. A pretty good value for 25 years of faithful service.

I immediately bought a new one. My only complaint with my new one is that it no longer has markings inside, like my old one did, to indicate how much water is in it. However, the new model holds a full two cups of water, whereas the old one held slightly less.

Sunbeam Hotshot

This is our second Hotshot. We looked everywhere for this one and found it here in Amazon.com. Nothing heats two to three cups of water as fast as the Hotshot. It is probably the safest heater since it is not easy to dispense the hot water on your hand or for a body part to get steam on it. Definitely a "five" star unit.

I first purchased this item several years ago and was so impressed by the way it worked and that there were no problems at all with it. So when I was looking for a new machine I again turned to Sunbeam and was very happy to find the same (although a little updated) product available and at a terrific price. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone.

This coffeemaker brews an excellent cup of coffee, quickly. It is convenient and easy to use. I recommend it for anyone who wants that quick cup of coffee/tea to go or for those who do not want to brew a large pot.

Although the coffee tastes good, this is not a satisfactory product & it creates a mess when you use it.

Specifically, during the filtration phase the coffee grinds spill over into other compartments of the coffee maker & some even land up in the coffee cup.

I prefer to use my old-fashioned 6-cup machine & paper filter with the coffee going into a carafe.

Great for one

I think this is the greatest for someone like me where nobody else in the house drinks coffee -- each cup takes maybe two minutes to brew, and it's hot and fresh. Plus, this takes regular old ground coffee, not those expensive pods where it's $4 or $5 for 18 cups of coffee. I agree that the mug provided is awful, and actually it's quite tippy in my car holder. I found a taller ceramic mug that is perfect for it, and that's what I use at home. I was an old convert from their "Cup at a Time" model, and this is an adequate replacement for it. No other brand has a single-cup maker that doesn't use the pods that I know of. I will definitely buy an "extra" one for the time when this one finally gets old.

Removable grill plates are great!

The only disappointment I had when I received this grill was that it was smaller than I expected. I can't cook as many chicken breasts (2 or 3 compared to 5 or 6) on it as I could on my George Foreman jumbo size grill (which was hard to clean and the teflon was coming off). But it's nice being able to take off the plates and wash them completely.

As Promised

The removable plates make it much easier to clean. I found this item for 59.95 plus tax at Target, so this item, with free shipping is a major bargin. Make sure you follow the directions and don't overcook and everything comes out great.

A Knock Out

We have used the small George Foreman grill for years. This one is larger and so much easier to clean. Cooks great like the smaller one.
